Rankings do not vanish. They get devalued.

Seven years diagnosing what Google core updates devalued, for site owners in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States.

What I actually do

Five areas of work. Each one begins by reading your own data, before anything on the site is changed.

Google core update recovery

Working out what a core update actually devalued on your site, then rebuilding those signals instead of guessing at fixes.

Technical SEO audits

Crawling, indexation, site architecture and Core Web Vitals: the structural faults that quietly cap how far a site can rank.

E-E-A-T and site authority

Author identity, sourcing and the evidence that sits behind a claim, built so that experience and expertise are visible rather than asserted.

Schema markup

Structured data that describes your pages accurately, implemented and validated rather than pasted in and hoped for.

Content strategy

What to write, what to merge, what to retire, and which pages are holding the rest of the site back.

How recovery works

It starts with the drop itself. The first job is dating the decline precisely and matching it against confirmed Google updates, so we know whether this is an algorithmic shift, a technical fault, or something that was already failing before the update landed.

Then the site gets read, not scanned. Automated tools surface symptoms. Working out which symptoms matter means looking at which URLs lost what, which queries moved, and what those pages have in common. That comparison is where the cause shows up.

Fixes are sequenced, not dumped. Changes go out in an order that lets each one be measured. If everything ships at once and traffic moves, you have learned nothing about why it moved.

Recovery is confirmed by data, not by hope. Core update recovery often waits on the next update to fully register. Between updates the work is to verify that the signals have genuinely changed, so the site is ready when Google next looks.

Send your domain and roughly when the decline started, and we can work out from there whether a core update is behind it.
