Privacy Policy
This site collects very little. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, and no tracking of you across other websites. What it does collect is set out below.
Who is responsible
This website, eliteitbd.com, is run by Kawsar Ahmmed trading as EliteITBD, based in Bangladesh. For anything in this policy, including a request about your own data, write to kawsar@eliteitbd.com.
What this site does not collect
There is no Google Analytics, no Google Tag Manager, no Meta or Facebook pixel, no advertising network and no session recording on this site. Nothing here builds a profile of you, follows you to other websites, or is sold or shared with advertisers.
Server logs
Like effectively every website, the hosting server keeps access logs. These normally record your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, the referring page and your browser user agent. They exist so the host can keep the site running, investigate faults and block abuse. They are not used to identify you or to build a profile, and they are retained only for as long as the host keeps them.
Cookies
This site uses a cookie consent banner. The banner itself stores a small record of the choice you made, so you are not asked again on every page. If you log in to the site, WordPress sets cookies that keep you logged in; that applies to site administrators, not to ordinary visitors. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time, and the site will still work.
When you contact me
If you email me, I receive whatever you choose to put in that email: your name, your email address, your domain and anything else you write. I use it to answer you and, if we go on to work together, to do the work. It is not added to a mailing list, and it is not passed to anyone else. I keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for the working relationship, and you can ask me to delete it.
Please do not send passwords, admin logins or other credentials by email. If access to a system is needed, we will arrange it properly.
Client data during an engagement
If you hire me, I may be given access to systems such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, your content management system or your hosting. I use that access only for the agreed work, for as long as the work runs. I do not export client data for any other purpose. When an engagement ends, ask me to remove my access and I will, and you can also remove it yourself at any time.
Comments
If commenting is enabled on an article and you leave a comment, WordPress stores the comment text along with the name, email address and website you supply, and your IP address. Comments and their details are kept so the discussion makes sense to later readers. Ask me and I will delete yours.
Third parties
The site is hosted by a commercial hosting provider, which necessarily processes requests to the site on my behalf. Beyond that, no third party receives data from this site. Pages may link out to other websites; once you follow such a link you are on someone else’s site, under their policy, not this one.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data I hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to how it is used, or to receive a copy of it. Visitors in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area have these rights under the UK GDPR and the GDPR, and visitors in Australia have comparable rights under the Privacy Act. To exercise any of them, email me. I will not charge you for it and I will not make it difficult.
Children
This site is aimed at business owners and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and login attempts are rate limited. No website can promise perfect security, but data is not retained beyond what the site actually needs.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site changes. If tracking or a contact form is ever added, this page will be updated before that goes live. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
